Slight higher fanspeeds on one fan bank after CPU upgrade And iLO wont upgrade
Hello Hp world,
I have my self a dl360g5 witch came with a dual core CPU installed, about 2 days ago I installed a quad core CPU into the system, ever since I did so one fan bank run slightly higher then before ( 34% to 37%) does this seem normal even though the temperatures are just as low as the old CPU, And server is under very little CPU load 98% of time in a 24hr day. Also I am having issues updating iLO 2 and some people says updating that fixes the issue but my server fails the upgrade and locks up iLO everytime I try. is there a better method to updaing then using the web. BTW the server is running esxi 5.1.0. the server is running in a unused bedroom and the room temp is anywhere from 60F to 77F, I am also on the latest BIOS update, hope someone can answer these questions
Good day
