battery failure on accelerator board Smart Array 6i contr.

Have a HP ProLiant GL4 that has been spitting out those "accelerator board battery failure" errors over the past few weeks. HP support sent me a new battery which stayed OK for a couple of days, and now the error is back.

I have verified we are on the latest firmware for the SmartArray 6i (2.84). I've opened yet another case about this issue, and all they did is send me a new battery and close the case.

I've seen this problem reported multiple times in the forums, but never really see any definite solution.

Thank you for this link. It's exactly what we needed. I wish HP support would look beyond their Tier 1 troubleshooting flowcharts and actually fix the problem and not the symptom. We sure do pay a lot of $$ for us to figure out how to solve these problems ourselves.
