iLO port does not ping.
I configured a DL 380p Gen8 server iLO port using the "HPONCFG" tool and a script.
The server has the latest "Service Pack for Priolant" and customized vmware esx 5.5 u2 is installed.
The "health status" in vCenter shows that the iLO port has not an IP address:
But the HPONCFG command says that iLO IP address is 10.x.x.x
And I can not ping the iLO port IP address.
The physical connection, cable, IP/Subnet mask, and switch port has been checked, with no problem.
Any idea?

Re: iLO port does not ping.
Are you using th dedicated iLO port, or is iLO in shared port mode? If in shared port mode the host itself cannot acees the iLO over the shared network port

Re: iLO port does not ping.
No, I'm using the dedicated iLO port.
I don't know what to do.
I tested the "hponcfg -r" command to reset the iLO configurations to the default factory settings, but nothing changed after reconfiguring the chipset.

Have you verified the iLO settings to make sure iLO is set to use the dedicated port? Are you setting the address static, or is it DHCP? Have you verified the network cable is good?
