iLO4 1.5 Reports Random Drive Overheat?
Hello
We have a DL380e with iLO4 which I have just upgraded to 1.5 firmware. I've managed to get the email alerts configured and now every so often iLO pings out an alert that sensor 12 has gone overheat and the server is about to shutdown the OS. The fans go absolutely balistic and then the next email within 5 seconds reports it has recovered.
The Array diagnostics doesn't report any drive overheats at all.
Anybody else come across this?
Thanks
Daren

Please call HP support and log a case. After that, PM me the case number.
Thanks

Re: iLO4 1.5 Reports Random Drive Overheat?
Hi
HP Support have told me that theres nothing wrong even though it thros up these random overheat issues. When it
happens all the fans run at full tilt it pings out an email saying about to shutdown due to overheat then the fans all calm down and I get another email saying the overheat has been resolved/aborted.
I have sent all the logs across to them and the said not to worry!!!
