Solution
the BL20p does not have any PCI slots, so you cannot put a modem or a standard SCSI card in there. The BL20p G2 has the option of adding a fibre channel mezzanine daughter card to the motherboard that gives you the capability to connet to a fibre channel SAN. Your only other options are to use the network connections (maybe connect to a standard server and use a proxy?)
Thanks,
Doug

Re: modem in a BL20p?
Not sure why you would need a modem for an individual BL20p because at minimum it will be located in a cabinet that can accomodate up to 8 BL20p class servers. It would seem if you needed remote access, you would want it for all of the servers. For that application, a modem router is a device that connects to the network and provides a modem access. This could be used for instance to provide async access to the iLO in the blades for remote management.
