need to install server08 on dl360g4-latest SScd boots to a linux prompt-ctrl+fn1or2 do not load

hello everyone, as my subject reads, I have a 360g4 which originally had server03 installed.  I need to wipe it clean and install server08 64x.  I downloaded the latest availble SScd from the dl360g4 drivers site (as of today) and it doesnt boot to gui.  I remember a few months ago I had the same problem with now an older version and the same thing happened.  I think at that point I didnt give it much thought and left it as is.  But now I really need to re-purpose this old server with 2008.

I searched and read about the ctrl+fn+1 or 2 but it just switches me from the linux prompt to just a blinking cursor when i do the key combination.

I tried simply booting with the 2008 dvd and then I get a bsod while loading the setup files....at this point I was so agravated that I just shut down the server without jotting down the bsod code.

either way, why doesnt the 64 bit version of SS work correctly?  what 64 bit SS do you recommend I download?  any direct links to older functioning verisons?

Just out of curiousity... why do you want to setup 64 bit OS ... are there 64 bit applicatiions which you want to run on dl360 g4 server?
