recover raid and data on proliant 380 P server

Hi 

 

i have 3 logical desks 2 * 420 SAS 3 inch disks 

the os were on the logical one 

 

i had a failed bay 1 on a raid 0 confirgation where the desk on bay 2 was damaged, i insterted more disks on logical 2 to try to extract the data into a safe lun 

 

any way to re-covery the raid configration or try to extact the data? i have tried may tools to boot into appliance but i failed any tool from hp or suggestion ?>

You said you loose a disk from a striped RAID 0?

Consider you loose every second bit - no way to recover this RAID 0.


Replace the disk, create a RAID 1 or 5 and restore your data from backup.

thank you, i have no recent backup, the desk is working now no way to recovery data ?

Did you really never made a backup of this RAID 0 ????

Running RAID 0 is a bad idea, no backups is worst, sorry.

I am not sure about the old configuration really any way to restore the old raid configuration?
