unable to install windows 2012 foundation HP on HPE server

I have a licence for windows 2012 foundation ROK HP and I want to to install it on a new HPE Server.

While booting from CD, then message bellow is displayed :

Fialed Bios Lock :

This installation media may be used only on hardware manufactured by : hewlett packard

Please contact your hardware manufacturer for support.

How can i resolve this issue ?

Are you trying to install the O.S. on the bare-metal Server (if so what HPE Server model exactly?) or are you trying to install the O.S. as a Virtual Machine over an hypervisor like VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V?

Thank you for replying.

I am trying to install the OS on the bare-metal Server. The server model is : HPE ML10G9 width Processeur Intel Xeon E3-1225v5 Quad-Core.

It seems that the OS is not recognising the server as an HP product since it is branded as an HPE product.

I think that it is the consequence of Hewlett-Packard's Split and they didn't think at this kind of users issues.

Well, now i am searching a solution for my problem.

Probably it's this issue.

Really curious to know how (and if) the replacement media request can be done...and how much fast it can be...since, probably, I'm going to setup an HPE ProLiant DL180 Gen9 with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Essential ROK E/F/I/G/S provided by HP (P/N: 748919-B21) and I'm sure, with that P/N (my retailer/distributor is still selling that P/N ROK with HPE Servers), I'll hit your same issue.

It is exactly what i am looking for. I found my P/N in that list.

I sent a request for the replacement of the media.

I am still waiting another 14 days for shipment.

I will reply as soon as i receive the new media.
