DAC960PL Mylex Controller in a 6/200 LX Pro

Does anyone know of a way to get the OEM DAC960PL Mylex Controller to properly initialize the 9GB Ultra SCSI hot swap drives. I have upgraded the controller firmware to 2.47. I have spoken with Mylex and they have said to contact HP. Any help? I am told that the firmware doesn't support these drives but I am trying to find an upgrade to the controller to make it work..

The problem you are likely running in to is a limitation of the Mylex. How many drives are in the array? The HPDA (Mylex DACi960) can only initialize an array of less than 32Gb. You can create multiple RAID arrays of less than 32Gb each with no problems, normally.

Are you using the Mylex or the HP firmware?
Recently upgraded my HPDA with the Mylex FW to get the Linux support.
You will need a second i28F001 and an external flasher.
