HP IP KVM Switch 1x1x16 - EO1010 A
since a few days i'm trying to setup my new LAN-management.
The mainpart for controlling my servers is an old EO1010.
This is an old and used part.
My problem is to connect to this EO1010 with HP's Console Viewer.
I'm forced to enter a username and password.
Unfortunatley the standard user Admin is not active.
Does anybody know how to reset this system to "factory standard" ?
p.s.
The EO1010 is administrateable directly via mouse keyboard and monitor... but i need the possibility to connect this system to the LAN
Thanks for quick replies !!
regards

Did you ever get this sorted out? I have one of these units with an unknown password & would like to be able to use it.

Re: HP IP KVM Switch 1x1x16 - EO1010 A
yes i managed it to get it work.
i connected this uinit via serial - null modem - cable to my PC.
With a terminal program i could simply rip out thas boring admin stuff .
Its very easy. All menu points are well descripted.
But do not ask me how to config the serial port. i think the basics 9600 with parity 0 made it

Re: HP IP KVM Switch 1x1x16 - EO1010 A
Can you lookup the part number of them please.
There are lots of online references for the newer HP 1x1x16 KVM and G2, but not these EO1010 units.
I have one EO1010, and no adapters. I want to know what will work so I get the right ones.
