Hard Disk Upgrade

I am currently using HP Netserver LH3r, PII 400 MHz CPU, HP IDE Harddisk 6.4GB (x4 units)Configured to RAID 5.I am trying to add in a new hard disk about 18.2GB. I am wondering whether
1) Does my system support 18.2GB hard disk?
2) Can I use other brand of hard disk or do I have to get direct from HP.

Please advise. Thank You

Re: Hard Disk Upgrade

Hi:
These are the configurations given to me by my customers. Will asked them to double check, but does all models of netserver lh3r used SCSI???

Re: Hard Disk Upgrade

Yes, the LH3 is a SCSI only system. No IDE is supported on the system. You are talking of RAID arrays, so I am willing to bet they are using SCSI. The size of the drives is suspect still though.
