NetServer E800 can't boot after a mother board replacement.
After HP replaced the motherboard on an E800 server, the system can't do the boot giving the error: "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" from Win NT 4.0 Sp4.
The SCSI disk is good. The only difference i can appreciate it's in the embedded SCSI controller: in the old mainboard the screen report 2 SCSI channel detected. In the new mainboard only 1 SCSI channel is detected. Someone can help me? Thank you in advance.

Re: NetServer E800 can't boot after a mother board replacement.
You should try clearing the CMOS and updating the BIOS. Here is where you can get the latest BIOS:

Clear the CMOS first. Look for switch #4 on the system board, with the system off, turn the switch to the on position. boot the server. at the end of post, when you get the message that the config is cleared, power off the system. Boot up and press F2 to enter setup. Press F10 to do a save and exit and try and boot again. If this doesn't work, the SCSI cable could be on the wrong connector. Try the other one.

Errr, it's a bit early sorry. Use this reply for clearing CMOS
