adding a scsi card to netserver lc3
I have an HP Netserver LC3 that I am using as a faxserver. Additionally, I'm hoping to attach a document scanner to it, a UMAX Astra 2400S that has a SCSI interface. However, I am having problems setting up and configuring the included SCSI card to the LC3.
The server is currently running Windows 2000 Pro, and I've got one 18 GB drive in it. I have the SCSI card in the system (DMX3191 PCI SCSI card), and the OS sees it ok, but when I try to run the scanner, the server doesn't see it. I've tried it on another system with the same OS, and it works fine. Same card and everything. Is there something in the SCSI setup I'm missing? I appreciate any help or suggestions anyone might be able to offer...
thanks!

Re: adding a scsi card to netserver lc3
Hi
Has you checked the BIOS version and all other versionable parts of the server?
Regards, Vicente.

Re: adding a scsi card to netserver lc3
Hi there.
I have had the same problems.
I got myself a nice Adaptec 2940 at a low price
from Ebay and connected my TRUST Excellence 19200 SCSI scanner to it. This Domex interface is not really trustworthy.
