microserver Gen 7 and RAM HMT351U7AFR8C-H9
We have a problem: Bought a few HP microserver Gen 7 and memory HMT351U7AFR8C-H9, but when you attempt to install memory in the server and turn it on, nothing happens, I mean server is power on, but the monitor does not display anything (in standby mode).
And so with every server and storage.
PS Bios updated to the latest on 2013.10.01

Re: microserver Gen 7 and RAM HMT351U7AFR8C-H9
Hello,
Ensure that the memory module is that of recommended option part for this server. This is to ensure that tested memory module is installed thereby eliminating memory issues. You may refer to the server's QuickSpecs for Option information.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Vijayasarathy

Re: microserver Gen 7 and RAM HMT351U7AFR8C-H9
Hi,
Have you tried the server with HP branded memory?
MicroServer G7 supports the following type of memory
http://partsurfer.hpe.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=593923-B21
595102-001 = 4GB, 1333MHz, PC3-10600E-9, DDR3, dual-rank x8, 1.50V, unbuffered with ECC dual in-line memory module (UDIMM)
HMT351U7AFR8C-H9 is a 4GB PC3-10600 DDR3-1333MHz ECC Unbuffered CL9 240-Pin DIMM Dual Rank HYNIX Memory Module.
In other words, Always use HP parts with HP servers.
