HP Smart Array P410i with 1719 and 1797

I have a server with a HP Smart Array P410i; it has the below errors.

1719-Slot 0 Drive Array - A controller failure event occurred prior to this Power-up
1797-Slot 0 Drive Array - Array Accelerator Read Error Occurred Array Accelerator is disabled.

I attached a scream shot.

How do I fix this? The OS still boots up.

Most likely the cache module has failed.

Hope this helps!

So I need to replace cache module and it should work again?

Re: HP Smart Array P410i with 1719 and 1797

Hi there, I would suggest checking the Smart Array Controller firmware version and the SAS expander firmware versions first before replacing the Cache Module.

There is more information about this in the Customer Advisories below:

http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?sp4ts.oid=3923500&docId=emr_na-c02779484&docLocale=en_US

http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c02910003

Kindly review the above 2 documents and update the firmware revisions as required before suspecting the Cache Module.
