Mounted volumes and NFS

Mounted volumes and NFS

- HP DL380 Storage Server
- Attached MSA20s
- Windows 2003
- NFS and CFS

I have setup a mounted volume in Windows 2003. It seems to work fine with CIFS, but when trying to share a folder on this volume with NFS, I receive this error: "Error writing share data ioctl to nfs mount driver, error = 0x00000032"

Google reveals a few other people have had the same problem but no solutions were posted. Ideas anyone? I'm worried that NFS shares + mounted volumes are a no go.

Hello Andrew,

can you export the folder withouth sharing it by CIFS?

I heard that this is not support. But I'm not sure.
