v9.12 Override workflow buttons

V 9.12

I have an Execution for running ksc_copy_request. It works great for copying a request to a different request type.

But, it displays Override buttons (see attached). These buttons will confuse PPM users.

- The buttons dont work anyway. If I press one it simply transitions to where I wanted to be (Succeeded transition).

- If I simply refresh the page with F5, I get transitioned to where I wanted to be (Succeeded transition).

- I have tried different processing types Manual and Immediate.

- It acts like the validation (WF - Standard Execution Results w/Reset, Abort) does not match the status returned from ksc_copy_request.

How do I get rid of these Buttons ?

Hello,

What do you have set for the Page Response? (Edit Workflow Step)

Re: v9.12 Override workflow buttons

The execution does not show the Page Response choice.

It does show me that choice for an execution calling ksc_create_project.

The only difference between the two is the Workflow Scope

   - copy execution is ALL

   - project is Requests

Re: v9.12 Override workflow buttons

When I set the Execution Workflow Scope to Requests, then I get the Page Response choice. I am happy with this.

Re: v9.12 Override workflow buttons

You will find this on the Execution tab for a Workflow Execution Step when the Workflow Scope is Requests.  It is editable when the Execution Type is Workflow Step Commands.  To get to this you will need to either edit an existing step source or create a new Execution Step.  You cannot change this by editing the step in the workflow, you must edit the source step, which will affect all workflows that use this step source.
