jgriggs ‎05-02-2014 01:07 PM - edited ‎09-25-2015 10:22 AM

Yesterday I blogged about the great new features in the WebInspect 10.20 release, today I am going to cover the WebInspect Enterprise features in the 10.20 release.  HP Fortify and the WebInspect team announced the release of WebInspect and WebInspect Enterprise 10.20 on April 17th.  Current customers can upgrade WebInspect version 10.20 using the SmartUpdate utility. Additionally, customers can download the latest release from and

WebInspect Enterprise

WebInspect Enterprise 10.20 helps customers transition from the AMP platform and adds dynamic reports, global scan templates and auto publishes scans to their SSC project.

AMP Migration

During WebInspect Enterprise 10.20 installation, customers can migrate an AMP version 9.20 database, which is automatically converted to the WebInspect Enterprise database schema, and you can optionally match the AMP 9.20 user accounts to SSC user accounts. During and/or any time after the installation, you can migrate the AMP sites you select to SSC project versions.

Dynamic Reporting

The WebInspect Enterprise interface now allows customers to create the following scan-level reports directly from the web console: Alert View, Attack Status, Compliance, Crawled URLs, Duplicates, Executive Summary, False Positive, QA Summary, Scan Log, Vulnerability, and Vulnerability (Legacy). Reports are stored with the scan and can be downloaded from the reports tab on the scan visualization screen.

Global Scan Templates

Users can now create scan templates that are available to all roles and user groups across the organization.

Auto Publish to SSC

Scans that are completed within WebInspect Enterprise whose associated SSC project versions are finished will be automatically published to SSC.
