ALM 11.5 Error BPTRemoteAgentInstaller has stopped working

Hi

When I try to launch the ALM 11.5 login page, I get a crash pop up which reads- BPTRemoteAgentInstaller has stopped working . After closing the pop up, I see the following message in the ALM page

Following client components were not downloaded successfully:

1 . Client.cab :
This file has no digital signature or the publisher is untrusted.

Close all connections to Server and try again.

Could somebody please tell me how to fix this

Regards

Srinivas

I am facing similar issue with ALM 11.52.

Could anyone please suggest any solution?

We've found that it sometimes helps to close all internet explorer instance, then remove all temporary internet and downloaded files, running the inofficial HP uninstaller and then finally accessing the client installation page with a flag to disable cert checks, ie: http://[Address of ALM server]/qcbin/start_a.jsp?cancelcrlcheck=true

You can also check the certificate used to sign the binnary "Client.cab".

If it is expired, then you can apply a patch to ALM to renew the client binnaries (singned with a more recent certificate)

I recall there was an issue with it some time ago.
