[NEW] TurtleALM: a TortoiseSVN / GIT / CVS / HG Issue Tracker plugin for HP QC/ALM

Greetings,

It is my pleasure to announce TurtleALM (http://almtools.sourceforge.net/turtlealm/) a new issue tracker plugin for HP QC/ALM.

TurtleALM is an Issue Tracker plugin for TortoiseSVN, TortoiseGIT, TortoiseCVS and TortoiseHG.

TurtleALM allows to quickly write meaningful code commit messages by selecting HP QC/ALM defects from within TortoiseSVN/CVS/GIT/HG. Those messages are compatible with ALI (in case you are not using Visual Studio / Eclipse or IntelliJ and the ALIDev extension).

TurtleALM is implemented as a Bugtraq provider for TortoiseSVN/CVS/GIT/HG. It has successfully been tested with TortoiseSVN and TortoiseGIT. Feedback and help is appreciated for the support of other Tortoise versions.

TurtleALM works with HP ALM11 onward (leverages the ALM REST API). There is no need for the ALM OTA connectivity add-in.

Feel free to continue the discussion about TurtleALM on the mailing list: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/almtools-users or on this forum.

Note: TurtleALM is not an HP Product, and is made available as is, in the hope it could be useful to you. Feel free to use, modify, and hopefully contribute back through the ALMTools project - http://almtools.sf.net/

the new repository is at:

https://github.com/hpalmtools/turtleALM

it looks like this was written for ALM 11

for ALM 11.52 you simply modify the function "fetch" query and may have to remove the "summary" field from the query for it to work.

Also the 1st filter of the dropdown box querty line needs to be rewritten.

but yes, its still good code to port to 11.52

for 12.0 this may need a different login / session handling as the rest API has changed a bit.

Thanks @WalterD !

Yes, I moved the repositories to Github. Speaking of which, I'm very interested with the changes you made for 11.52.

Would you mind creating a pull request on Github so that we can add support for 11.52?

I'd love to get your changes in...

Thanks,

Olivier.
