Formation of HP Security Research

ryan_strecker ‎02-26-2013 07:01 AM - edited ‎03-05-2013 07:10 PM

We're pleased to announce the formation of HP Security Research (HPSR), a new group that will provide actionable security intelligence through published reports, threat briefings, and content delivered through the HP security product portfolio. For an example of the kind of publications you can expect from HPSR, check out the annual HP Cyber Security Risk Report, also announced today.

Actionable security intelligence is critical to protecting your organization from the rising tide of security threats. As part of the HP Enterprise Security Products (ESP) business unit, HPSR will lead HP's security research agenda, leveraging existing HP research groups, including HP DVLabs, HP Fortify Software Security Research and the Zero Day Initiative to help you proactively identify threats and manage risk. Research publications and regular threat briefings will complement the intelligence delivered through HP products and provide insight into the future of security and the most critical threats facing organizations today.
