Trouble shooting authentication thru Windows AD

Hi,

Every once in a while we run into a situation where we are unable to authenticate users using Windows AD. On this particular server we are able to authenticate our samba shares without any problem but when we try and log on to an HP-UX server and enter our Windows password it fails and prompts us for our system password.

I was looking online and found some references to trouble shooting documents but none of the links worked. There was a reference to "CIFSUnifiedLoginV2.pdf" on here but links all returned a not found page.

Does anybody know where a person could find some trouble shooting steps. I have looked for difference in the config files that I am aware about but they were all the same. The software versions are the same as well.
