Unable to run passwd command to change password version 11.31
Hello friends,
I am facing an issue with the passwd command in one of our system installed with Hp-Ux 11.31
It gives the following error when we try to change password for any of the user,
eg-
#passwd root
pam_chauthtok: Shared object load failure.
when i check in syslog it gives the following error
shl_load: error loading library /usr/lib/security/hpux32/libpam_unix.so.1: No such file or directory
while the file libpam_unix.so.1 is present in the path /usr/lib/security/hpux32 and is a valid file as its being used for other PAM services eg- ftp, ssh,su are working using the module libpam_unix.so.1 , issue only with passwd service not working.
Appreciate your response..Thanks
