deny ssh frm other server for root

Hello All,

Just consider this scenario.

I have 10 servers, server1 is the one that has scripts that should be able to access other servers through SSH for data collection. So what i want is i want to only allow server1 should be able to access other 9 servers with root using SSH. And i want to block all the other servers from accessing each other using SSH as root user.

How can i achieve this. i am able to get hosts level restrictions but for user level restriction not sure how can i go ahead.

Thanks,

Vijay

Hi,

Download the HP-UX Secure Shell Getting Started Guide from the below link and follow steps from page 56 "Configuring Host-Based Authentication-->Using User-Specific Configuration"
