Change Definition of Minor State

Our environment consists of older and newer generations of the Proliant servers, most of which are using RILOEs. We do not use the external power cable for any of these RILOEs.

The newer servers don't seem to have a problem, but our older ones are show up in "Minor" state with the external power cable showing as a failed or degraded item. Would anyone know how to change the definition of "Minor" in CIM7 to ignore this? Any other suggestions for a workaround?
