I have created an email notification task to send an alert when a device status changes to critical. The notification is working but the date and time of the event in the email body text is incorrect. The date and time reported is actually the date and time the device was first discovered?
I have tested both standard and HTML format emails and the results are always the same.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Solution
This is normal behavoir if you use the device (eg critical devices query) for the task. If you want additional information, you can create a new event query for status change events then use this query for the email task. In addition the polling tasks need to be configured to create these internal events.
To create the event query, select new on an event category, select events of type, then under the system branch expand and select device status change. Then select events of severity and critical events. Then save your query and use this for the task.
