Insight 7.0 and Firewall

I need to monitor Proliant & Netserver servers threw my firewall. I know the port that need to be open but I would like to know more. Is there any documentation somewhere that is describing the internal process of insight, like what communication port it using when a discovry process occur, events, VCA, Certicate, Agent and .....

Insight Manager 7 has gone end of life and its replacement, HP Systems Insight Manager is in its 3rd major release. Documents pertaining to IM7 are no longer readily available, but the same communications processes are used (with the exception of WBEM/WMI that IM7 doesn't use) and the document "Managing HP servers through firewalls with HP Systems Insight Manager" applies to IM7 as well.
