Fill Assign To field in Task when it is Closed

We are using Service Manager 9.21. In Change Managmenet, we have several tasks that are assigned to a group when they are opened. When one of the members of the group completes the task, we would like to auto fill the "assigned to" field with that user's name. I thought I could do it in format control in the calculations section with an entry in the "delete" column of "assign.dept in $file="Change Management" and assigned.to in $file=NULL" and then a calculation entry of "assign.to in $file=$lo.ufname", but that is now working. Any suggestions? Thanks Rich Taubner

Re: Fill Assign To field in Task when it is Closed

Hello,

1. I think the name of the field is "assigned.to" and not "assign.to". (maybe just a typo)

2. The content of this field is not the full name but the user name of the operator. So you should use $lo.user.name instead of $lo.ufname
