Run java script from connect IT Scn

Hello ,

Is it possible to run a java script from connect it.

What am trying to do is to make the connect IT get an e-mail and then take the info inside it and pass it to the Service manager to a specific Java script which is going to take that info as parameters to work on it.

So is it possible just to pass that info to the Service manager by connect it and not updating any tables or anything.

Thank you.

Ok let me rephrase my question.

I need to do a check by javascript before updating a table from the webservice and pass a few parameters to the javascript from the connect it SCN.

Thanks to advise.

Re: Run java script from connect IT Scn

You can try a command line connector with your script name and pass arguments on the consumed document type. In the output you can have the stdout that you'll have to define in your JS.

input:

ouput:

in your JS:

process.stdout#

A Writable Stream to stdout.

Example: the definition of console.log

console.log = function(d) {
  process.stdout.write(d + '\n');
};

Of course it's better with node.js deployed ;-)
