Service Manager User Guide

Hello everybody, please, can anyone provide me (or send me a link of) the USER
guide for HP's Service Manager? Or any other documents describing user/group
management and creation of CIs or modification of Change Forms? I'm trying to
figure out how to create a new change form with some CIs. My screnario is as
follows: If such a change is approved, it should trigger an HP Operations
Orchestration flow using input parameters mapped from CI's or Chang Fileds.
WIthin the HP Partner Portal as well as within the Trial ISO I only found the
installation guide. Thanks a lot! Regards, Till

There is no userguide, but the SM Online Help includes these instructions, along with a large number of PDF documents describing tailoring best practices, working with the document engine, performance tuning, etc.

Or you can look into HP ART Adoption Readiness Tool. It's a training, training management software but have modules for various HP products. e.g. SM and BSM and etc etc. It is like a user guide among other functionalities.

It will train users how to use SM and you can customise it as well.

ART looks compelling, and promising, but the current content is targeted towards end-user instruction for Service Manager and does not include detailed tailoring or integration configuration. It is also not available for use without a license except for a small number of sample lessons. 

 

It looks like a great user training platform, but the current content in the table of contents don't address the topics above. I wish I had something like it when I used to do training development and delivery full time.
