Hello Alarmus,

As you can see from message in the patcotaskhistory table field event is only 60 bytes and something is trying to push there 68.

Go to dbdict look for table patcotaskhistory and double click on the event field. Chnage the length from 60 to 128 for example and click on ok.

Re: patcotaskhistory error in sm.log

If you use something like 7.x version then it will be quite easy.

Expand  the System definition in the menu  and expand tables too.

Scroll down to the table which is posted here and expand it.

In old versions there was available Data in it. In later versions HP removed it from there.

So if you have old version then you can expand Data and in any record which will be there see what is in the event field.

Btw it can be also done by connecting to the later version systems with for example 7.01 windows client.

Second way (if you can not check what is there from menu) is to look for this table from db (print db in command line and then search for that table).  System will offer you 2 forms for viewing. Before getting information which you need, you will have to add new field on the form patcotaskhistroydetail with input event. After you do that you can view what is recorded in the event field.

Re: patcotaskhistory error in sm.log

Thank you, Vadim.
I did use third method :) - look into Data Base (at Oracle server), as i see that automatically generated text by system in event field.

i think it easiest way (having the smallest number of actions\steps to get result) for enybody :)
