HP Serviceguard Cluster File System for RAC

Hi Gurus,

I have to implement a CFS 2 node Cluster for Oracle 11g on HP-UX 11iv3 BOE. I am installing the HP Serviceguard Cluster File System for RAC(A.03.00). Is it required/mandatory the HP Serviceguard 11.19 to be installed on these nodes. Please clarify.

Hi,

for active-active rac environment, disks must be shared. this can be done with serviceguard for rac, with oracle asm, or with cfs cluster. for creating cfs packages, cluster environment must be created as i know.
