I have 2 rp7410 in cluster with hp-ux 11.11
The cluster config is:

Solutionwill be a standby for any LAN that is on the same bridged network (basically, attached to the same set of switches).
So, it depends on how things are connected.
LAN2 and LAN0 could both be standby for either LAN1 and/or LAN3.
To see which LANS are bridged together:
## cmquerycl -c CL_banner -l net

If SG query doesn't complain then it will work.
Clearly, it would be much better to have
1G STATIONARY primary for public access of clients
1G standby
and 100M Heartbeat
with 100M standby.
What was your output from
## cmquerycl -c CL_banner -l net
?
Also, this will show actual, running LAN setup:

cmscancl -n node -o outfile
Get use to use this command. Its a very valuable diagnostic utility that includes a lan connection section with exactly what you're looking for:
STANDBY lan1
CONNECTED lan 1
NOT CONNECTED lan 2
Additionally, all connections are at the MAC address level. So use 'arp -a' to review.
