Shared Storage among cluster nodes - HP UX 11iv3, Oracle RAC 10g
Hi Guys,
We have a 2 node cluster running HP-UX11iv3, Serviceguard and Oracle RAC 10g. SAN storage is attached to the cluster.
In-house built C application run on it.
The problem is, storage connected to node 1 isn't accessible by Oracle instance running on node 2. Similarly, C-application running on node 1 isn't able to access storage on node 2.
As per my understanding, shared storage should be accessible/visible to both nodes.
I am a programmer and my system administrator is saying it is not doable in current scenario.
Please suggest is it possible to have "shared storage" visible to both cluster nodes without investing further on hardware or software? If yes, then How?
Thanks
