How to replace failed hard drive in HP MSA P2000 G3

Hi All,

 

can anyone please share with me the steps to replace the failed hard drive with new one in HP MSA P2000 G3. we have one Vdisk created with RAID 6.

 

if i remove failed HDD and insert new one after that what i need to do in SMU to make it available for existing array.

Insert the new disk, check the status (is AVAIL now) and make it a global hotspare. The rebuild will start now.
