New to the world of MSA and need to add storage to a physical server

Very new to MSA's.

We have an MSA P2000 fiber connected. We have an HP DL360 G8 (Server 2008R2) with Q-logic HBA's. Our ESXi hosts work great with the MSA but I'm not sure how to handle the setting up the storage on the physical box. I've created the LUN, used explicit mapping and added r/w to the host server.

What needs to be done on the Windows server to actually see the storage?

Are you referring to a physical or virtual windows server? Physical, go to manage / disk manager. VM you must map the hypervisor's HBA to the VM.

This is a pysical server (HP DL360 G8) Tried going into disk management, nothing shows up there. Re-scanned and it found no drives.

have you checked your fibre switch for zoning, you may need to add the server and MSA to a zone.
