Hi.
I have a customer that has a P2000 G3 san connected to a HP DL380 G7 running ESXi 5.0. There are configured 3 vdisk with 4 volumes in total.
Now they need to add a new VM on the server but have run out of space.
Can i just add 2 new disks to the san, create a vdisk, create a volume and then map that to the controllers on the fly. And will VMWare be able to see it without a restart?

Re: P2000 Add disk to VMWare Server
Thank you for the answer.
If i extend it, and add another volume will this automatically show up in VMWare?

Re: P2000 Add disk to VMWare Server
You just need to present (map) it to the host.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
