Hello,
We recently aquired a P2000 G3 MSA SAS system. I'm currently trying to set up the vdisks, but it's giving me some issues.
I want to add a RAID 10 vdisk with 6 drives + 1 spare. It doesn't allow me to do this, instead it gives me a RAID 10 with 4 disks and 3 spares.
Does anyone know how I can make the vdisk the way I want it?
Thanks.

Re: P2000 G3 MSA SAS RAID 10 with 6 disks
You need an even number of disks, so either all 6 or 4 only.
Notice you can adjust the number of parity groups (or whatever they call this in this box) during configuration of the vdisk.
RAID10 can have up to 16 disks, IIRC.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: P2000 G3 MSA SAS RAID 10 with 6 disks
I want to use 6 disks for the raid 10, but it seems not to accept it.
The only thing you can adjust is the number of sub-vdisks, but that just adds more mirrored vdisks to the raid group.
I've added attachments of what I get in the provisioning wizard.

Re: P2000 G3 MSA SAS RAID 10 with 6 disks
I thought that would make a wrong raid configuration since it makes 3 groups of 2 disks. The capacity however is the expected size.
Thanks for your help.
