eva4400/6400 crash with 2tb FATA drive 637981-001
Folks,
Customer recently bought 8 of these for their EVA6400 running XCS 11001100. On insertion of the first one the whole EVA fell over in a heap and had to be completely powered off. HP's recommendation was to code load the other drives in the array then try again.
Same result.
Rather than risk the storage again I built a test EVA4400 running XCS 11200000 and guess what. Controller logs basically say 'what just happened?' with no other useful info.
I know it's not a LUN restriction as the 2TB limit was removed a while back, has anyone else tried using these drives?
Cheers
Adrian
