CVE removed hosts WWN still visable in ADD PORTS
hi there,
I removed two Itaniums HPUX11:23 from my SAN.
As everything is removed in Zoning, Aliases, Fibre, Vdisks, Hosts, Autopath and disable Switch ports, the 4 WWN are still visable in CVE port list.
These WWN's doesn't execist anymore on both Brocade Switches in the WWN list. So somehow CVE can't refresh the port list or they are in some cache. I restarted the CVE proces on the Appliance and even reboot. They are still there.
How can I get rid of them.
thanks
Chiel

Re: CVE removed hosts WWN still visable in ADD PORTS
Solution?
Just make a ghosthost and put the remaining WWN's there.
It seems that those ghost WWN's only at a reboot or upgrade dissapear.
