Configuring Alerts for HP EVA4400

Hi,

Can we configure HP EVA4400 to send alert through mail?

I see we can configure it through commandview but it says it can send to Monitoring systems, can't we configure it to directly send mail alert?

We need to configure EVA4400 to send alerts when something wrong with it, Please help.

Usually you integrate command view with HP SIM or HP Insight RS for notification, but from commandview you can configure mail notification too.

From manual:

Y ou can configure HP P6000 Command View to send email notifications regarding storage system
alarms and hardware conditions. Y ou can now receive an email notification for the follo wing
events:
• Disk group capacity alarms
• Thin provisioned Vdisk capacity alarms
• Hardware condition changes
