Deleting EVA 8000 volumes from Solaris 10

Hello,

Before I withdraw (unpresent) an EVA 8000 volume from a Solaris 10 server, how do I tell the operating system that the disk will be disappearing? I'm using Sun StorEdge Traffic Manager (MPxIO)/Sun Storage Multipathing.

Thanks,

Glo

Never used EVA on solaris but for iscsi volumes or dead scsi disk i use this command

This will show all disk

cfgadm -al

This will remove the bad disk

cfgadm -c unconfigure
"dead removed"
