EMX HBA link down on Tru64 5.1A - ES45
I can't reboot the server.
How can I put the HBA link up without rebooting the server.
Hardware: ES45
OS: Tru64 5.1 A patch kit 6
HBA: FCA2384
emx2 state information:
Link : connection is DOWN
Link is SCSI bus 4 (e.g. scsi4)
SCSI target id -1
portname is 1000-0000-C93E-7BD4
nodename is 2000-0000-C93E-7BD4

You need to diagnose why the link does not come up.
- is there a cable problem?
- a faulty GBIC/SFP?
- somebody turned off the switch port?
