EVA P6000 performance monitoring
Hi,
There is a performance issue and users are putting it on the EVA P6000 Storage. I want to find a way to get statistics to interpret the results.
Please Advise.

Re: EVA P6000 performance monitoring
Hello,
use evaperf on windows host where is CV installed (it comes with CV).
then learn how to use it - just run evaperf.
My favourite example is: evaperf vdg -cont 4 (it means show stats for virtual disk group each 4 seconds), you should check latencies especially.

Re: EVA P6000 performance monitoring
What about if I want to identify possible bottlenecks at the EVA controllers FC ports ?
Just to show to the customer wether there is i/o bottleneck or not.

Re: EVA P6000 performance monitoring
use hps switch: evaperf hps -cont 4
shows host port status each 4 seconds, you can see there number of i/o, cpu usage...
