Expand HP Blade Server Linux based LUN by connecting old HP EVA 8000
Our DC has HP Blade Server BL460 G8 with Virtual Connect connected to SAN environment that includes 2 HP storageworks (8/80) switches and 3 HP EVA P6500 storage arrays I need to expand the LUN that presented to each server by connecting old storage system that contains 2 San switches HP storageworks (4/64) and 2 storage arrays HP EVA 8000.
I done the below steps:-
1-Chcek the firmware compatibility of the 2 SAN switches old and new and its ok
2-Check the Command view version and controller firmware its ok
3-Connect trunk link between the old san switch and new san switch
4-Present from the old storage LUN to the Linux server in bay1 in HP blade G8 that connected to new storage.
5-Present LUN from the new storage to the OLD servers for HP P6500
The problem is the old server can see the presented LUN from new storage HP EVA P6500 but the new servers cannot see the presented LUN from the old storage HP EVA 8000.
*Note I clear all zone information.
*Old server is HP Blade G1 BL460.
*All Servers is Linux Based RHEL5.7 64-bit
So how can I solve this issue ??
