FCA2101 and EVA5000 compatibility (DL380 G2)

Hi Folks,

We need to connect a DL380 G2 (PCI slots) using an FCA2101 HBA (245299-B21 StorageWorks FCA2101) to an EVA5000 with a SAN Switch 2/16, but we can't find any compatibility info. We've looked into SAN Design Guide, Quickspecs and forums, but without any luck so far.

Since the FCA2101 is listed as MSA-compatible and is Fibre Channel 2Gb Standard, we believe that it will work. Also, as we don't have the HBA in our hands, live testing is impossible.

The server is running Windows Server Std. 2003.

Yes, this combination supported.
Recommended storport driver versions are 5-1.11x1 or 5-1.11a0, scsi miniport: 5-5.20a10 or 5-5.20a9, fw. 3.93a0 or 3.92a2.
