An alarm has occurred on HP P6000 Array System: EVA6400 WWN: 5000-1DB2-330C-81F3
Alarm type: Hardware condition change
Alarm description: Event Code: 094b000e - 0," A Volume was removed from a LDAD.");

An alarm has occurred on HP P6000 Array System: EVA6400 WWN: 5000-1DB2-330C-81F3
Alarm type: Hardware condition change
Alarm description: Event Code: 093e420e - 4," A physical disk drive has disappeared.");
So what can I do to safely removed and replace the disk with the replacement drive with no issue or data loss to the existing system safely ?
Thanks.

SolutionThe event code: "094b000e; A Volume was removed from a LDAD" indicates a predictive failure disk has been ungrouped by EVA itself after migrating the data. Ideally you only have to check in CommandView to identify the disk bay in question and replace the disk.
Hope this helps!!
Zsal

Re: HP EVA 6400 disk replacement procedure with no data loss or outage ?
So once it is in levelled mode, can I just pull and plug the new replacement disk drive ?
Do I need to do something in the EVA control center ?
