HP SIM and EVA

I would like to manage the alerts of my EVA4000 and EV4400 using HP SIM. Do I need the Storage Essntials Pack to do this ?

I can not get SIM to recognise the EVAs during discovery  :(

The Insight RSA Managed Systems Configuration Guide has all the detailed steps how to do this.

Did you discover your Command View Server?

 

You can not directly discover the EVA's.

 

 

You do not need Storage Essentials.

I can see the management appliance but not the EVAs.

Did u made trust relationship in CV EVA server option with your SIM server?
