MPX + EVA + RX Server without SAN Switch?.

Hi everybody, happy new year!.

For a remote disaster recovery site I need to replicate to an rx-2800 server with an EVA-P6300. The gateway is a MPX110. Do I MUST use a SAN Switch to connect the gateway and the array or may connect them directly?.  I expect this last is the possible and fully functionally.

Hello!

No you can connect MPX+P6300 directly without a SAN-switch.
Make sure you set the host port on the P6300 to the right mode (host or direct connect).
