MSA recommended network configuration

Hello,  I’m looking for documentation on best practices or guidelines on how to setup MSA SAN network. I have a MSA 2012i with dual controller and 2012 enclosure. When talking to HP tech support they indicated our network setup was not optimal: should been using different subnets per controller, management network should be separate, jumbo frames enabled, etc. I already had two dedicated switches for iSCSI SAN network but had to upgrade.

I searched the support website and haven’t been able to find any documentation on this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi, HP's SAN Design Reference Guide has details about best practices when setting up an iSCSI network.

But yes, a dedicated subnet/VLAN/switch is a good idea (less interference of the SCSI traffic).
